Review of Angry Birds books
Little Mr A was recently sent two fantastic books from the brand new Angry Birds range from Top That Publishing. As soon as I got them out of the envelope Little Mr A fell in love with them! He is a big Angry Birds fan anyway so to receive two books (which he also loves!) about Angry Birds was a dream come true!
Red Bird to the Rescue!
This is a lovely board book with a hand puppet beak that you or your child can put your hand in as you read the story to really bring it to life. It is a lovely story that Little Mr A really enjoyed and it has lovely bright illustrations. Normally he would give a board book straight to his little sister, however, this one is not leaving his sight! Even though it is a board book it still has a good story that is suitable for older (Angry Bird loving) children and Little Mr A has enjoyed reading it with us and by himself.
This book is great! The main part of the book is the 8 masks that can be pushed out and made following the easy to follow instructions. You are also provided with elastic to finish the masks. The masks are a little fiddly and Little Mr A did need a little bit of help, however, because they are 3D they are really worth the effort and look great when made! Little Mr A has had great fun pretending to be an Angry Bird!
The other part of this book that Little Mr A loves is that it gives you facts about the Angry Birds and the Pigs whose masks you are making. He keeps coming out with random facts he has read in the book and remembered!
I am really impressed with both the quality and appeal of these books and cannot recommend them highly enough to any Angry Birds fan out there!Disclaimer – For the purpose of this review we were sent the Angry Birds books above. All opinions are honest and my own and all photographs were taken by me and are not to be used without my permission.
